Lovely little place tucked away in a quiet apartment district. My fiance and I frequent this place regularly for the tasty food and kind staff! We usually get the bulgogi and jajangmyeon. I've had some really authentic mom and pop jajangmyeon before, and the taste of Gangnam's version is really similar! I think it may be a bit pricey for the amount you get compared to a mom and pop shop, but I still have leftovers after eating here. I also really like that they have a little self serve area for pickled radish! Overall, I recommend this place for a quick, casual Korean lunch!

The service was very friendly and welcoming. Young man greeted us and the owner or front of house was helping us with the utensils hidden under the table. Family friendly environment and had a high chair for our party. Food was great overall but was slightly salty on the LA galbi. The kimpitang in our opinion was too saucy but overall had a lot going on but tasty. Noodles was perfect. Will come back to try other things!

I found the greatest Korean restaurant that had real taste of Korean food since I came to the US. The restaurant was small, but it was really new and clean. The food (stir-fried jajangmyeon and tangsuyuk) was delicious at the restaurant. So, I ordered a fried rice to go. It was contained in the plastic box. Surprisingly, there was the aluminum foil covered in the box so that the hot food didn't contact the plastic directly. GL

A casual spot for quick Korean dishes. The Jajangmyeon was rice and a little sweet. I loved how much meat and noodles they gave you. Very good price to portion ratio. Spicy Pork Bibimbap was refreshing. The Tangsuyuk was meaty but could have been crispier. Overall, a good spot for quick meals.

Sister restaurant to Gangnam BBQ, inside a the new West End District. Order at the counter, food brought out to your number. Fountain soft drinks and a couple Korean alcohol selections. Small inside and it packed with the lunch crowd quickly. A couple picnic tables with umbrellas outside in front is preferable on a sunny day. Noodles ~ chewy fun, cooked better than most. Jjamppong ~ soup was very spicy with the smokey flavored Korean red pepper, almost not enough soup being packed with noodles and a good amount of seafood. Jajangmyeon ~ great price at $12, tender cubes of meat, gooey good sauce, few sauteed vegetables. Fast casual Korean dining is the latest trend in PDX.

Another new Korean spot in the Beaverton area! This spot is in West End District apartments and offers casual Korean-Chinese fare and teriyaki menus. The prices are fairly reasonable for the portion, which is a plus. They were also playing K-pop on the TV, so another plus! We came during their first few weeks of opening, so it took a bit longer to order since the cashier was still figuring out the system. I got the Jjamppong and it came in a huge bowl. The broth was pretty flavorful and not too spicy, but there seemed to be much more soup than noodles and fillings. We also got the Yukjeon, which is sort of like a beef pancake. It came with a dipping sauce and some cabbage. The sauce was tangy and savory, so it complimented the pancake well. I want to come back and try even more dishes!
